As the smartwatch war intensifies with the launch of the Apple Watch, Motorola has it hit back by allowing customers to personalise the look of their Moto 360 before they buy.
Customers can customise the watch’s case, strap and pick a default watch face online, picking and mixing from dark, light or champagne gold finish case, a choice of nine strap including leather or metal links, as well as 11 watch faces.
Motorola launched its Moto Maker program for the original Moto X back in August 2013. Moto Maker doesn’t offer quite the same level of tinkering for smartwatches and smartphones though, as Moto X buyers can also choose how much memory they wanted for the phone as well as engrave the case.
However, wihle the original program was limited to the US, the Moto 360 Moto Maker is much more widely available from the get-go, with the service on offer in the UK, Germany, France, and Mexico as well as the United States.
Prices start from £199.99/$249.99, but can increase depending on which cases or strap you choose.
