Yotaphone 2: Dual-screen technology at its finest

The Yotaphone is a stylish smartphone and e-ink reader combo.

After weeks of speculation, the Yotaphone 2 has finally been announced. The smartphone/e-ink device has undergone some big changes this time around, with a much more user-friendly and robust e-ink screen than the original model.

The main display of the Yotaphone 2 is a 1080p AMOLED 5″ screen that carries a fantastic 441ppi. On the other side you’ll find Yota’s AlwaysOn e-ink display, which is ideal for managing notifications, ebooks and general outdoor use.

With an array of new features, it’s now easier than ever to share tasks between both screens, and both have been radically improved to streamline how they use battery life. It’s also thinner, lighter and a lot sturdier than the original device.
