After several months of waiting, Sony have stuck to their word and are finally starting to rollout the latest Android OS update to their latest flagship device, the Xperia S.
The change will see all the incremental changes and differences from Gingerbread to Ice Cream Sandwich; including resizeable widgets, improved lock screen, better control of your data consumption and a dedicated recent apps buttons.
Our friends over at Sony have also included some exclusive changes to the Xperia S:
- Walkman app – This app will showcase Sony’s signature audio technology with the ability to share your favourite tunes amongst your friends.
- Album app – A new app that allows users to look at their photos and videos in blazing speeds, as well as giving quick access to the device’s camera.
- Movies app – As its name suggests, the Movies app offers streamlined playback to your audio and video, while showing them in the best possibly quality.
