Welcome to the World of Animals

From the creators of How it Works, All About Space and All About History comes the brand new World of Animals magazine

Open source has Tux the penguin, Geeko the chameleon and whole host of weird and bizarre animals that make up the Ubuntu releases Our furry, feathered and scaled friends exist outside of mascots and codenames though, and they all have fantastic stories to tell.

Enter World of Animals, our new sister magazine all about the non-human organic life we share a planet with. The first issue, on sale 28th November, tells the story of gorillas, crocodiles, the 50 most endangered species and also gives us a glimpse into a year in the life of an Emperor penguin.

They're not Gentoo penguins, but they're just as penguiny

You can like and follow World of Animals on Facebook and Twitter respectively to get your daily dose of animal facts. There’s also a chance to win a subscription to the magazine on its website, and you can always get a pre-order subscription the old fashioned way.

The world is full of animals; why not learn more about them?
