Site of the week: Tapedeck

You gotta love this site, hi-res scans of hundreds of cassettes that all look retro and cool. All the major brands
are here, BASF, AGFA, Phillips, Memorex and a few that we have never heard of. Why the site is so inspirational?
We can’t quite put our finger on it but the whole Web Designer team love. Maybe it’s just the sheer weight of
design talent that harks back to another era. As the site states, ‘Tapedeck.org is a project of neckcns.com, built
to showcase the amazing beauty and (sometimes) weirdness found in the designs of the common audio tape
cassette’. Find functional designs from the 60’s, colourful and crazy designs from the 70’s and classic and classy
(for tapes) from the 80’s and 90’s. Take a visit, get inspired and relive those mixed tape memories.
