We get it. Your iPhone 4S is just looking a little too small since the release of the iPhone 5. You crave the extra couple of centimetres on the top of your screen, but you just don’t have the cash to upgrade right away. Well, there is a solution, and it’s the iFaux 5.
This little piece of technology is completely free, allowing you to quickly upgrade your iPhone to include an extra row of icons. The paper-touch display ensures that the iPhone remains thin and light, and the latest technology has been implemented to ensure seamless integration with your 4 or 4S.
We went hands-on with the new technology, and while we did find the touch screen slightly less responsive that we would like, we did enjoy the feeling of superiority the taller screen gave us. Plus, thanks to the DIY assembly, any concerns you may have over worker conditions in Apple’s Chinese factories can be put to bed. We had trouble when it came to taking photos and listening to our music, and on our model at least the lock button simply wouldn’t work, but this is the perfect way to upgrade if you just want the bigger screen of the iPhone 5.
You can grab the brilliant paper-craft iFaux 5 from their website – let us know your experience with the upgrade, and post your photos in the comments!
