Twitter reveals Instagram-style photo filters for iPhone app

Twitter officially announces that it's adding photo filters to its smartphone app, as Instagram drops Twitter integration

Twitter has officially announced that it’s adding photo filters to its iOS app with an imminent update. The update also offers a couple of other editing tools, including an auto-enhance button and a cropping tool. Twitter has released a video showing off the new features:


The announcement comes a short time after Instagram officially dropped Twitter integration from its app, meaning that those using the Twitter website or the official mobile app cannot view photos shared through Instagram natively any longer. It seems that the war between the two companies is ramping up.
