Twenty percent of BlackBerry 10 apps are Android-based

Android apps make up twenty percent of all apps available on BlackBerry marketplace.

With the recent news that BlackBerry has surpassed 100,000 apps, they’ve also announced that Android apps now count for twenty percent of its BlackBerry 10 apps currently available to users.

Many of the most popular Android apps have already been ported over to BlackBerry 10 and there are plans for apps based around Android 4.0 to also be ported over in due course. Despite it being great to see Android apps being made readily available on other platforms, using the current ports on the new BlackBerry Z10 is less than impressive.
