Tutorial: Copy and paste Graphic Styles in iWeb

Save time and keep your site design uniform with this quick copy and paste tip for graphics

Save time and keep your site design uniform with this quick copy and paste tip for graphics
When you’re working with iWeb templates, a lot of the hard work has been done for you when it comes to Graphic Styles. The picture frames, image placeholders and other design flourishes make a site stand out, but when you get more creative it becomes tougher to make things match up. For example, we’re using a site design that already features an image with a frame and shadow and have added three more images without any Graphic Styles applied. Rather than remembering the picture frame style and size as well as the amount of shadow used on our original image, we can
simply copy the style of the original and paste it on to the other images to apply an identical effect. Not only does this tip save time, it also helps to keep your site’s design in check.
1: Select and copy
Start by selecting the image style you would like to copy. In this example we’re selecting an image with a frame and drop shadow applied to it.
Now select Copy Graphic Style from the Format menu.
2: Paste into place
Now select the images you want to apply the copied style too. We’ve selected the three images on our site without a frame or shadow. Now select Paste Graphic Style from the Format menu.
