No spy arsenal would be complete without an unhackable phone. While Sony pay for the privilege of having Bond use the Xperia Z5 smartphone in Spectre, the Blackphone 2 is the phone 007 would really use in the field.
Made by Geneva-based security firm Silent Circle, this new Android smartphone is built from the ground up to maximise privacy and ensure it can’t be hacked. It offers encrypted peer-to-peer phone calls and ‘Silent Text’ messaging so no one can eavesdrop on your conversations, while the Security Center feature allows you to control how much of your personal data apps can use on a case-by-case basis.
The Blackphone 2 can also be wiped remotely and Silent Circle has committed to fixing bugs and issuing updates within 72 hours of discovery.
