According to The Hollywood Reporter, Joshua Michael Stern’s Steve Jobs biopic, jOBS, will launch in the US on April 19. The report cites the film’s distributor, Open Road Films, who are releasing the film on behalf of Five Star Feature Films, who are in charge of marketing.
Not to be confused with another Steve Jobs biopic, penned by The Social Network’s Aaron Sorkin, jOBS sees Two and Half Men’s Ashton Kutcher take on the role of Jobs in the earlier years of his life up until the point where he returned to Apple following his ousting in 1985.
There’s no word yet from Inferno Entertainment, who are handling the film’s international sales, on screenings across the rest of the world.
