Sony have officially announced three new devices that’ll be making their way on to the market. Each device will be a new addition to Sony’s popular Xperia series, and each will target a different area of the market which Sony hope to make a bigger dent in.
The Sony Xperia T will be the flagship device of the three, and will launch with Android 4.0, with an update to 4.1 soon after launch. Alongside a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 4.6″ screen, the Xperia T will include a 13-megapixel camera and 720p display.
Second in command is the Sony Xperia V, which will also include a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 13-megapixel camera similar to the Xperia T. You’ll also find a 4.3″ HD display powered by Sony’s BRAVIA engine, as well as full NFC connectivity for all Sony Mobile accessories. It’ll also ship with Android 4.0, with the update to 4.1 coming soon after.
Last but not least is the Xperia J, the entry level device of the trio. The phone will include a 4″ screen, while also being a skinny 9.2mm thick. It won’t include as powerful of a camera as its bigger brothers, but instead a 5-megapixel offering, while a front-facing camera is also included.
The Xperia T will launch globally in the next few weeks, with the V and J launching before the end of the year.
