Samsung unveil Galaxy Note 10.1

Samsung adds another tablet to the market. Read on to find out more.

Samsung’s Galaxy range is set for another addition, this time with the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet. Its smaller counterpart was criticised for being too big for a phone, but too small for a tablet, and it seems Samsung have put the record straight with this device. The Galaxy Note 10.1 boasts a 1.4GHz dual-core processor and a decent 1GB of RAM.

Alongside the 10.1-inch display, is a 1280×800 resolution, which should look the part with the HD playback capabilities of the tablet. Similarly to Samsung’s other tablets, you’ll be able to pick up the Note 10.1 with 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, with a microSD card slot that can hold up to 32GB more.

The only similarity between this and its 5-inch brother we’ve really noticed so far is the inclusion of the S-Pen, Samsung’s answer to the stylus. The S-Pen can be used to doodle and scribble text, as well as be a design tool with Adobe’s Photoshop Touch and Ideas apps. Both of which come pre-installed on the device.

There’s no confirmed date or pricing for the Galaxy Note 10.1 as of yet, but we will update you once we know.
