Samsung have officially announced their latest venture in to the samrtphone market with the Galaxy S III Mini. Although the device shares the same name as the full-sized S III, the S III Mini has been taken in a different direction.
The device has a 4-inch Super AMOLED display with a 800 x 480 display, as well as a dual-core 1GHz processor.
TouchWiz still renders its occasionally ugly head, but the camera has been downgraded to 5-megapixels from the 8-megapixel on the full-sized S III.
The best feature to come from the announcement, is that the Mini S III will be one of the first devices to run Android 4.1.
