With less than a week until the official announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S IV, we’ve put together a quick list of some of the things we can expect to see in Samsung’s newest device.
Samsung Galaxy S IV design
Samsung are notorious for encasing their phones in a plastic shell, so we expect to see more of the same here. With other high-end phones now using aluminium and general metallic casing, we’d love to see Samsung join this trend. Expect to see black and white versions of the device, however, and a blue version released at a slightly later date.
Samsung Galaxy S IV hardware
Many leaks have provided information on the processing power of the Galaxy S IV. Many are suggesting Samsung will use the Exynos 5410 processor alongside an eight-core chip clocked in at 1.8GHz each. If we see anything close to that sort of power, the S IV will be streets ahead of the competition, but is it power that we really need in a smartphone?
Samsung Galaxy S IV screen
There are conflicting reports when it comes to the screen on the S IV. Many believe it’ll contain a 1920×1080 HD resolution on a 4.99 inch display, but one or two reports suggest we can expect to see the S IV closely sizing up to the Galaxy Note.
