It’s hard to decide if the Note Edge is going to be more of a gimmick than successful product, but it certainly looks good. On the right-hand side of the device, users will find an extra screen that can be customised with different quick shortcuts, or a simple way to move through apps. The second benefit of the extra screen is that it’ll enable a lot lower power consumption and should save the battery better than ever. It follows the same design pattern as the Note 4, but without the new metal framework.
The device as a whole will work in the same vein as the Note 4, with the S Pen still present and all those associated features will be present. Although no news on pricing, the Note Edge will be available in a few select regions.
