It is something we have suspected for a very long time but Samsung has finally come clean and announced that they will be unveiling their next flagship smartphone during Samsung Unpacked on 1 March.
The event will take place at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona where all the biggest names in the smartphone and tablet world will be showing off their wares. However, the Galaxy S6’s release is probably the most eagerly-anticipated event of the show as Samsung looks to regain its position of power at the top of the Android tree.
The teaser video posted on Samsung’s Twitter feed can be seen here and seems to hint very strongly at an emphasis on the camera, rumoured to be a 20MP camera as sported on the Galaxy K Zoom, which is 4MP sharper than the S5.
As for the phone itself, it looks like either the S6 or the S6 Edge will be curved. Are you excited for the launch of the Galaxy S6? What innovations do you think will be packed inside Samsung’s latest offering? Comment below to let us know.
