Restore your Android data using Titanium Backup

If you need to restore all your apps and data after flashing a ROM the easiest way is to flash it using Titanium Backup. This tutorial shows you how

You can use the Titanium Backup app to quickly restore all your apps and data after flashing a ROM

    Get TB Pro

If you haven’t already got it download Titanium Backup Pro from the Play Store. You’ll need root access to be able to use it, so grant this when prompted. Tap the tick icon in the top right of the screen to start setting up your backup.

    Backup your data

First you need to backup your data. In the Backup section of the Batch Actions screen choose your preferred option – Backup all user apps + system data will create a full backup of everything on your phone. Hit Run to set the process in motion.

With the backup complete scroll down the Batch Actions screen to Recovery Mode and select Create from app+data backups. You can now choose which data you want in your flashable zip. Make your choice and then hit the green tick button.

    Flash to restore

Your data is now fully backed up and flashable in either CWM or TWRP recovery. Now when you wipe your data before flashing a ROM you can flash this as well and when you reboot into the new ROM all your apps and data will be waiting for you.
