Racing games on Android phones are a definite mix bag, sometimes you get the odd gem, but usually you get a load of rubbish.
Luckily for Reckless Racing, it is a cracking racer.
Players take part in off-road races against three other racers, with a variety of obstacles and terrains to traverse along the ways. The game uses a top-down view for races, and all the controls take the form of touch buttons.
The controls can take a while to get used to at first, but are responsive, which makes it easy enough to play.
There are several different game modes to take part in, including rally races, a nice added feature.
As far as racing games go, once you get to grips with the controls, Reckless Racing is a very good example of what a decent racing game for the Android plays like. Developers take note!
