Quirky Converge review

A new way to charge your devices.

Mixing docking and charging stations into one product isn’t a new concept, but the Converge by Quirky has attempted something a bit different. This entirely plastic stand can hold up to 4 Android devices, with the small slit in the centre being used to thread various cables through to the 4 USB ports at the back of the stand. Thanks to the extended slit, it’s easy enough to stop the cables getting tangled, but it often comes down to the overall cable quality to determine how flexible it is. At the bottom of the stand is a power port that offers enough power to charge all 4 USB ports at the same time, but it’s deceptively power hungry.

We really liked that the unit fully charged 3 of our devices in just over an hour and the thick plastic build helped stem any fears we had about overheating. Quirky haven’t reinvented the wheel with the Converge, but they’ve made some minimal changes to make this charging and docking station a secure way to charge your devices simultaneously.
