The launcher is the home screen interface where you add widgets and open up apps from. By default, the launcher will be closed if other apps require the RAM, this can cause a slight delay when it reloads.
With these quick tips, we’ll show you how to speed it up again.

Download ES File Manager
To solve this its possible to force a rooted Android to keep the launcher in memory by editing the build.prop file on the device. Download ES File Manager from the market and open it up.

Edit the buid.prop file
Press and hold on the ‘favourites’ button to navigate to the root of the filesystem. Then open the ‘system’ folder , and click on the ‘build.prop’ file. Choose open as text, then open with ‘ES Note Editor’.

Add the parameter
At the bottom of the file enter ‘ro.HOME_APP_ADJ=1’. Press menu and then ‘save’ . Always make a backup before editing buid.prop or init.d files as if entered incorrectly it can cause issue. To revert the changes, either delete the line, or change to ro.HOME_APP_ADJ=0
