PyCon UK starts next week

To celebrate the impending start of PyCon UK and to entice first-timers to the event, organisers have released a video roundup of last year's gathering…

Today we got word from PyCon UK’s John Pinner that a new video celebrating last year’s event has gone live in anticipation of PyCon UK’s 2013 gathering, which starts next week. In it several core developers, event team members and even Linux User’s own Richard Smedley take the time to explain exactly why you should take the trip to Coventry’s TechnoCentre on the 20th September.

You can learn more about PyCon UK on the official site where a full schedule and registration details can be found. The PyCon UK Wiki has also recently been updated with fresh details of talks, workshops and more.

If you want to be the very model of a programmer Pythonical you’d better be quick – there are only a few tickets still remaining. We’ll be there to report on the event for Linux User issue 132.
