Samsung has begun rolling out the Premium Suite upgrade for the Galaxy S3. The update includes many of the software fetaures seen in the recent Galaxy Note II, including a multi-window mode that enables you to view two apps on screen at the same time, as well as a significantly improved Gallery app.
The update is availble over the air or via Kies on the desktop. Updates to devices on certain networks may take longer to arrive.
Other highlights include:
- Paper Artist app with multiple picture taking effects
- Increased contextual awareness, such as ensuring the screen is always rotated the right way by detecting your face, and launching the music player when you plug in headphones
- Camera enhancments such as a new low light mode, imporved panorama mode and Best Face feature
- More powerful S Beam enabling the sharing of a 1GB movie file in just three minutes
- Improved touch response
The Galaxy S3 is the best selling Android device, having shipped more than 30 million units since its launch in May.
