Polaroid M10: New budget tablet running Android 4.1 for less than £150

Despite strong competition from the Google Nexus 7, Amazon Kindle Fire and Acer Iconia B1, the Polaroid M10 looks to streak ahead of the competition.

The latest Android tablet to take centre stage is  the Polaroid M10. Although famed for their camera manafacuring skills, rather than their tablets, the M10 is shaping up to be a nice tabled indeed.

It sports a rather bland slab look, but does include a metallic back to give it a premium look and finish. All the standard ports are included, as well as HDMI-out for any movie buffs or avid gamers.

Display wise, the M10 uses a 10″ 1280×800 IPS screen which is pretty standard for budget tablets, but thankfully packs in a lot of power with its quad-core processor.

The best news of all is that the Polaroid M10 will ship with Android 4.1. With little history in the Android market, it’ll be interesting to see how regularly Polaroid will update their devices.
