Photoshop optimised for Retina display launching next month?

Adobe is set to release a Retina-optimised version of its flagship product at its digital event on December 11th

Adobe has teased a new, Retina-ready version of Photoshop CS6 for its Create Live event that’s taking place on the 11th December 2012. A video, posted to advertise the event, shows the latest version of the pro editing software being used on a MacBook Pro with Retina display.

This screengrab from the video shows some of the interface elements of the new version, which look crisper than they would be on a normal laptop…

Adobe updated its Lightroom software a few weeks ago to be optimised for the Retina display, so it makes sense that it would also update its most famous product, especially as it is the best app to utilise the high-resolution screen. Stay tuned for more details.
