Probably the biggest bit of news to come out of the Samsung Unpacked event that launched the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Note 5 was that the latter won’t be coming to Europe this year.
This has incensed users of the popular phablet in Europe so they have initiated a petition to convince Samsung to reverse their decision to only release the Note 5 in North America.
The campaign has been launched by Clove Technology, an online phone shop. In its blog post, Clove has said ‘Whilst here at Clove we respect Samsung’s decision we are smartphone users too and understand how for so many, this is very disappointing news. We would therefore like to show Samsung what the Note series and particularly the Note 5 meant to you.’
The petition has already received more than 4,000 signatures and Clove plans to eventually forward it on to Samsung in a bid to bring one of the South Korean company’s most popular handsets to the European market.
If you want to add your name to the petition, click on the link and maybe it will help Samsung see that this market wants the Note 5 as much as, possibly more than, the S6 edge+
