Development of openSUSE 13.1 has taken another step forward, as the first beta has just been officially released to the public. This also means Factory has been feature frozen, with no new features to be added to openSUSE before release.
The features that have made it in before freeze though include Linux Kernel 3.11.1, systemd 207, wine 1.7, samba 4.1 and Amarok 2.8. While this does seem a little light, there are a number of other features that have already made it in.
You can download the latest beta from the website, and help get the next version of openSUSE properly bug fixed
