Barnes & Noble have today launched their two tablets aiming to take a stab at the 7″ tablet market. Both tablets will look to take on the plethora of other midsized tablets currently available in the UK.
The Nook HD is a 7″ tablet that features a 1440×900 display (243PPI), and is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor. It weighs in at a decent 315g and comes with either 8GB or 16GB of storage. The Nook HD+ is a 9″ tablet with a 1920×1080 display (256PPI), and fully supports HD. There’s also a 1.5GHz dual-core processor which should keep it running nicely.
