New Photos app now available for OS X beta testers

Signed up to Apple's beta program? If so, then you can download the new Photos app right now.

The debut of Apple’s long-awaited Photos app is finally here, as long as you’re signed up to the company’s beta program.

Those who are signed up to the beta program can download OS X 10.10.3 and get their hands on the new app and begin the process of transferring their images across. Initial reactions are very positive for the new app, with many claiming it to be a noticeable set up from the ageing iPhotos.

Other features in OS X 10.10.3 include support for Google’s two-step verification and a new emoji picker.
