Brand new MacBook Airs have been revealed by Apple at WWDC in San Francisco and will be available as of today on the Apple Store. The faster and longer lasting MacBooks take advantage of the latest Intel chip technology, Haswell, that offers massively improved battery life compared to previous processors.

The MacBook Air has 9 and 12 hours of battery life in the 11″ and 13″ respectively. They’re also getting a new price with the 11″ starting at $999 for the 128GB model and the 13″ with 128GB SSD starting at $1099. Both are available from the Apple Store today.

Macs have an install base of 72 million users and it was also announced that the MacBook is the no. 1 notebook in US.
