New Issue of iCreate on sale now!

The latest issue of iCreate is available now from all good supermarkets and newsagents, as well as on our various digital platforms including Newsstand and Zinio, and we have to say its one of our favourites. Issue 116 comes packed full of features, tutorials and reviews, and we’ve picked out some of our favourite bits so you can see what you’ll get when you pick up a copy. And, if you want to find the best way to read the magazine on your selected device, why not head over to and find out just how many platforms we’re available on.

First off, we have a fantastic creative feature for those who love using their iPhone or iPad to get creative. We’ve moved away from the iLife suite and focused more on third party applications, picking out the very best apps for you to try. Whether you want to paint on your iPad or edit the photos you’ve taken on your iPhone, we’ve got an app, and a few brilliant tips, for you.

We’ve also gotten our hands on the latest iMac this month, and extensively tested it to bring you a full, 8-page review with in-depth analysis and some of the most beautiful imagery of the new machine you’ll ever see. Is it worth upgrading to the Fusion Drive? Does the new design really make a difference? And what other improvements have there been to make this worth the upgrade? We answer all your questions in this review, so don’t miss it.

This month, we’ve started our tutorial section with a mini-feature on how to make your own fanzine. If you’ve ever wanted to put together a magazine, but didn’t think it was possible on your Mac, it’s time to think again. From designing your magazine’s logo to taking an editing fantastic photos that will look perfect on the page, we’ve put all our own expertise into this guide.

That’s not all, though; we’ve also scoured the latest release of iTunes and put together some of our best Power Tips. Some you may already have tried, but we’ve worked hard to bring together tips that are mostly unknown so that you can experience the new app in a different way. Alongside this we also have all our brilliant tutorials, a range of great reviews, and a Group Test that takes six sets of Mac speakers and pits them against each other to find a victor.

iCreate is available from all good newsagents, from the Imagine Shop and on subscription, plus it’s still available as a download on Zinio and Newsstand, and a range of other digital platforms. Of course, if you buy the physical copy you’ll even get a free disc that is absolutely stuffed with content for you to use in your projects.
