3D designer Martin Hajek has been known in the past for providing accurate and realistic models of Apple products before they’re even announced. A few months ago, he created a mock-up for the iPhone 5 based on leaked parts, which went on to fool many sites, including Gizmodo, who reported on them as ‘leaked photos’. Now, based on the rumours that the next iPad could take design cues from the iPad mini, he’s put together a mock-up for the next iPad. It maintains its 9.7-inch display, but gets a thinner, narrower design thanks to the thinner bezel of the iPad mini. Martin also noted that by using the iPad mini design as a template for the larger version of the tablet, he was able to make it 17mm narrower, 2mm thinner and 4mm shorter than the current iPad 4. We’ve included Martin’s comparison shots in a gallery below to show what the next iPad might look like.
