As it’s only two weeks to the Linux User Raspberry Jam, we thought we’d give you an update on the event, the workshops, speakers and stands we have coming to the RNLI on the 5 April. Please bear in mind that this is not a final list and we’re hoping to secure some more speakers before the event.
Workshops
Take part in our workshops and learn how to use a Raspberry Pi to do a variety of things
Get started with your Raspberry Pi by Jim Derby
Program Minecraft Pi by Martin O’Hanlon
Master the Camera board and picamera by Dave Jones (maker of picamera pure Python module)
Building Raspberry Pi and Arduino-powered robots by Alan Braun of Dawn Robotics
Speakers
We will have a number of speakers at the event, talking on a variety of Raspberry Pi-related topics, which we will be announcing closer to the time.
Stands
You’ll be able to purchase various add-ons and peripherals from stand attendees and also learn about how to use them.
The Little British Robot Company
Show and tell
Have you got a Raspberry Pi project you’ve been working on and want to show it off? You have? Great, because we’re looking for people to take part in a show and tell session. The session will consist of five minute slots where you will talk briefly about your project and answer questions on it.
If you’d like to take part, please drop us a line at linuxuser@imagine-publishing.co.uk and let us know what you project is and we’ll add you to the list!
If you’ve still yet to get your ticket, grab it now.
