The MintBox, released last year, was a powerful little machine running Linux Mint 13. Made by CompuLab, the people behind fit-PC and Intense PC, the MintBox was apparently a success and this has resulted in not only a new version coming soon, but some changes to the way the box is sold to benefit consumers.

Ordering the MintBox will now be easier, with no more customs charges for purchasing the device thanks to the ability to buy it from There’s no word as to when the new MintBox is out, but we’ll let you know when it is.
