Mageia 3 RC out now

The Mageia 3 release is on 3rd May, and in the run up to this, the release candidate has been made available for a final round of testing.

After the jump from Mageia to Mageia 2 last year, we’re looking forward to seeing how the team can make the distro even better when Mageia 3 comes out. We’ve had some great previews over the last few months, however with the May release date looming larger, the Release Candidate is now available, giving us a better taste of whats to come.

The Release Candidate comes with all the features and bug fixes from the previous development releases, but with updates to the Linux Kernel, systemd, Perl, Ruby and more. The team confesses that there are still some major bugs that they’re trying to fix in time for the proper release.
