When it comes to getting creative on the Mac, there aren’t many apps we love more than Pixelmator – and we’re not just saying that because we have a free copy for readers with issue 123. The app lets you do all kinds of things, from creating content from scratch on a digital canvas to editing your photos. Or, if you prefer, you can combine a series of effects and layers to create some pretty awesome desktop backgrounds.
We created a lovely hexagonal design for you, and then made it available in a range of colours. You can preview them below, and if you want to download any of them you can do so by right-clicking, selecting Open Image in New Tab, and then dragging the high resolution image onto your desktop. Let us know what you think of our designs – hopefully we’ll have a couple more for you in the next few weeks.
