Following the temporary downtime of Apple’s online store today, the company has released upgraded versions of its Logic and Final Cut Studio software packages.
Apple’s professional audio package, Logic Studio, sees over 200 new features including virtual guitar amps, Flext Time tools and enhancements to the suite’s MainStage software.
And Final Cut Studio, Apple’s industry-standard video editing suite now offers over 100 new features with new versions of its component apps including Motion and Soundtrack Pro.
“The new Logic Studio is ideal for professional musicians, live performers and GarageBand enthusiasts who want to take their music to the next level,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing.
Speaking on Final Cut, Schiller also said: “With 1.4 million users and 50 percent of the market, Final Cut Pro is the number one professional video editing application,”
Logic Studio is available now for £399. Existing users can upgrade for £159
Final Cut Studio is also available for £799 or a £249 upgrade for existing users.
