It was a little over a week ago when we reported that the release candidate for Linux Mint 14 had been released, but that’s been long enough for the Mint team to get the final version of Linux Mint 14 Nadia out the door. You can now download the final version of both the MATE and Cinnamon versions as separate images.
The release brings updates to the MDM Display Manager, the new feature introduced in 13, and makes it a bit more user friendly with a user list on start-up. Updates to Cinnamon and MATE are also included, but if you’ve been running either of them since the launch of 13 you’ll have the major updates anyway. As well as these aesthetic changes, and the updates from Ubuntu 12.10, there’s also a few minor tweaks throughout.
You can download it now from the Linux Mint download page.
