Lenovo Tab S8: Powered by Intel for just $199

Will the Lenovo Tab S8 overtake the Google Nexus 7 and become the most popular budget tablet?

Lenovo is one of the first companies to take to the stage at IFA 2014 and the Tab S8 shows their intent to make a real challenge to the current leaders of the budget tablet market.

The Lenovo Tab S8 will be the company’s first tablet to include an Intel processor (quad-core Atom to be exact). Alongside this it’ll have an 8-inch 1920×1200 display, 2GB of RAM, 8-megapixel camera and offers a seven hour battery life. Best of all, it’ll be running an entirely unskinned version of Android 4.4.

There’s no news on a release date yet, but at $199, the Lenovo Tab S8 will undoubtedly turn a few heads.
