Lenovo LePhone K2: Just another Android phone?

The LePhone K2 is Lenovo's new handset, sporting a 4.3" screen. Read on to find out about the first few details of the device, and whether or not you should be investing in one.

Would you be surprised to hear that there is another Android phone about to be announced? Didn’t think so.

After a lot of speculation over other devices, our friends at Lenovo have released some details about their new handset; the LePhone K2. From the details we’ve read and heard about the new Lenovo device, it’s shaping up to be a quality device with a lot going for it.

In terms of the screen, the LePhone K2 will have a 4.3-inch IPS display, but we’re still yet to hear any news over the resolution of the screen. There’s a powerful dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor, with a good 1GB of RAM and 1GB of ROM to help power the device.

For people who like their cameras big, the LePhone K2 will be packing a 8-megapixel 1080p camera. Unfortunately, the device won’t be shipping with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), and instead people will have to make do with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).

Details haven’t been sparse about the pricing and releasing of the device as of yet, but maybe Santa may have a few for us before the end of the year.
