Leak suggests two new iPads at today’s Apple event

Apple all but confirms two new iPad models – both with Touch ID

Apple appears to have ‘mistakenly’ updated its iPad User Guide For iOS 8 ebook with screenshots showing off a pair of new iPads – the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 – both set to be unveiled at tonight’s media event in Cupertino.

The screenshot, which you can see below, confirms both new iPads will get the Touch ID treatment. Otherwise, it’s hard to decipher any other changes – design-wise, the new iPads appear very similar to their predecessors. Of course, we’re fully expecting the internals of both new devices to receive a boost in the form of the much-rumoured A8X chip.
