Jelly Bean now on 50% of Android devices

Just over 50% of all Android devices are now running a version of the Jelly Bean update.

Following the recent announcement of Android 4.4 KitKat, Google has announced the latest figures of the OS didtribution across Android devices, with Jelly Bean now on over 50% of all devices. It’s a great step for the OS, with Google keen to update and bring as many devices as possible to one of the later Jelly Bean updates.

With Android 4.4 being tailored for low powered devices, we could soon see a plethora of new devices getting their hands on Jelly Bean and KitKat soon enough.
