Collaboration is one of the key elements of a successful working relationship. The ability to give feedback, inspire confidence and point out errors are essential parts of this paradigm. Unfortunately, leaving comments on documents hasn’t always been easy. They can be intrusive and unsightly and often get in the way of a great design or other important elements of a file. Apple has seen this problem and identified an easy way to make sure users can highlight elements of a document, without it causing havoc to the finish of a work-in-progress. Adding comments to a Pages document is simple, and will allow you to make your point without ruining someone else’s hard work. What’s more, with, you can share the work and your comments so others can see. This system is perfect for an environment where changes need to happen fast and with minimal disruption to workflow.

1: Select and click
Select the element of work you wish to comment on. Once highlighted, use the Comment button on the top menu bar to create a comment. It will appear to the left, with a line to the area you selected.

2: Type away
You can now type your comment into the available yellow box. If you need to, you can leave the default name and date stamp in there when it appears.
