iTunes is to give away more free downloads this holiday season in its 12 Days of Christmas promotion.

iTunes is to give away more free downloads this holiday season in its 12 Days of Christmas promotion.

A special website goes live today where people can sign up for daily email alerts so they don’t miss their free track or video or TV episode or movie or app.

12 Days of Christmas runs from 26 December to 6 January and each download is available only for 24 hours.

Last year’s freebies included music from Katy Perry, Lily Allen and The Ting Tings.

The promotion is also running across Europe.
