9to5Mac are reporting that AppleCare representatives are receiving pre-release builds of iTunes 11 ahead of its launch. With the app set to be released “as soon as today” according to the Wall Street Journal, this may be the indicator that the public link is about to go live.
The latest version of iTunes was announced in September, and originally was set to launch before the end of October. After a delay, Apple announced that the app would be released before the end of November.
It’s not yet clear whether this is the final build of the software, or whether it means that app will be launched today, but we expect that we will be using iTunes 11 within next few hours.
