iPad Hitting Apple Stores in 7 Days – On Sale 2 Weeks Later

There is a new rumour circulating about when the iPad will appear. Apparently it will arrive in Apple Stores (in the US – no mention of Europe at all) on the 10th March so that all of the staff can train up, it will then go on sale on 26th March.(via TUAW and The Examiner)

We can’t see any reason why there shouldn’t be a global roll-out of the iPad. The 3G capable version isn’t going to be on sale straight away anyway. So, even if the deals with mobile operators are still ongoing, the basic version of the device can still go on sale. Sadly, there are also rumours of a production bottle-neck which could mean limited availability.

Its the iPhone all over again…
