iLife Tutorial: Order your prints from iPhoto

Arrange for a perfect set of prints to be delivered to your door with nothing more than a few clicks.

While it’s great to see your photos on the computer screen, it’s still a fantastic feeling tohave a print copy of your shot in your hand. With Apple’s iPhoto ’11, it is now even easier to order your favourite snaps and have them delivered right to your door. The best part is that with Apple’s new iPhoto ’11 you’re given the tools to edit and improve them in any way you want, and then order the edited photos instantly. Of course, you don’t need to edit to create great photos but, with the features available, enhancing the colours or sharpening up outlines to get the perfect memory to print may be too straightforward to simply ignore. Ordering is easy too, as iPhoto links to the Apple ID you use for iTunes purchases. After selecting your shots and ordering the prints, enter your password and then just sit back and wait for them to arrive.

Step 1: Select your images
First, choose the images you want to order. Highlight them and click the Share button in the bottom-right corner, then select Order Prints. A page should slide up onto your screen with your choice of photos.

Step 2: Order the prints
You can choose what size photos you want, and there are warnings when low-res images will be poor-quality prints. After reviewing your order, enter your Apple ID and password and your prints are ordered.
