How long has it been since you last played with LEGO? Probably too long. Well it’s time to get them out again, because SmallWorks have made a case which allows you to add them onto your case in any way you like. And they don’t look bad, either:
According to the company, the design came about after 12-year-old Hunter Thompson, who was a Boy Scout who had just received his first phone before a big camping trip, commented that he would have liked to add his LEGO bricks onto his case to play with them. The company thought this was a great idea, and set about making it happen. Hunter had a part in the design, testing and marketing for the case, and on his 13th birthday he received an upgrade to the iPhone 4 so he could use his new case. Awww.
So there it is – a fantastic creative case. We see potential for this being used to form makeshift stands for the iPhone, or just for bringing out the inner child in us. We’ll be getting hold of one as soon as possible, and they’re available now in white, black and clear plastic from Amazon priced at £2o, or $19.99 if you’re in the States.
