If you’re obsessed with finding accessories that not only match, but possibly better, your Apple product’s build quality, then we’d like to point you in the direction of Hard Graft. This Austrian company combine some really high-quality Italian leather, wool felt, and suede to create what are possibly the finest cases for the iOS and MacBook family we’ve ever seen. They’ve even gone one step further, creating a slipper for the rather unportable iMac.
Hard Graft’s latest product, the Back Up iPad Case, is nothing short of beautiful. In a choice of leather and felt or suede, with a leather inner lining, this case not only does a great job of protecting the back your iPad 2, but can also be used in conjunction with Apple’s own Smart Covers. We reckon the grey felt case would go great with a black or red leather smart cover.
It’s got all the usual openings for your iPad 2’s cameras, and headphones as well as some neatly cut slits near the bottom creating a grill for the speaker. All in all, the attention to detail on this case is pretty much unmatched at the moment. The only downside we can see is the price. At €89 this case doesn’t come cheap, but there’s always a price to be paid for quality, and if you want to do your iPad’s price tag justice, there’s really no other choice.
