For many, cached files are something you’d only experience on desktop computers, but that’s far from the actual truth. Cached files are frequent on your smartphone, especially if you use apps that require logins and access to certain device permissions. The ES File Explorer app may be best employed for digging out large files, but it’s also particularly useful for removing cached files. Trust us when we say you may be surprised with how much storage these cached files take up.
Head to the storage section of the ES File Explorer app and look for your installed apps. You should find a cached file option, which will contain all the expendable caches that can be removed.
Long-press one of the files to open the selection screen, before pressing the subsequent files to remove. Confirm the deletion process by pressing the Trash icon at the top of the app.
